Photographic Exposition: 2nd Vale Registrar Digital Photography Workshop
Monday January 10th, 2011The 2nd Vale Registrar Digital Photography Workshop took place between November 22 and December 3, 2010 in both Mariana and Ouro Preto stations. Twenty-four students participated, 12 from Ouro Preto, especially from Padre Faria neighborhood, and 12 from Mariana, mostly from Chácara neighborhood.
The activity, spanning a total of 20 hours in each city, was directed by the photographer Dimas Guedes and aimed at exploring the participant’s look on composition and design in digital photography, and to carry out photographic records of manifestations, characters, buildings and culturally representative places in Padre Faria and Chácara neighborhoods. 
Some of these photographic records were selected by the students themselves to comprise the exposition, open on January 14, 2011 in Trem da Vale’s Ouro Preto Station Platform.
The exposition has already been to Ouro Preto and Mariana stations and the Padre Faria Cultural Center, in Ouro Preto. and the Human and Social Sciences Institute (ICHS) in Mariana.
Now, the exposition returns to the Ouro Preto station during the carnaval where it remains until march 13.
