Vale Registrar is winner of the Aberje Brasil Award

Valley Registrar, which conducts an extensive Oral history project in Ouro Preto and Mariana, received the Aberje Brasil 2009 Award in the Corporate History and Corporate Memory Category.
Valley Registrar is a subprogram of Trem da Vale, aimed at rescuing individual and collective memories of the residents of Ouro Preto and Mariana through an oral history project it developed and implemented.
In its 35th edition, the Aberje Award honored the best organizational communication initiatives in the country, promoting the announcement and recognition of actions taken throughout the country.
This is the highest award for Corporate Communication in the country. More than 420 projects from 178 Brazilian companies registered for the Award. The winners went through three classification stages, after which they were evaluated in a public hearing by a jury composed of well-known professionals.
The Award is a testimony to Valley Registrar’s outstanding work in protecting the region’s history and clearly shows the Trem da Vale Program’s commitment to local culture.
