Vale Registrar is the winner of the ABERJE Regional Award

Tuesday September 8th, 2009

Vale Registrar, a subprogram of Trem da Vale Heritage Education Program, aimed at strengthening the cultural identity of Mariana and Ouro Preto’s residents, was awarded the ABERJE’s 35th edition Regional Award, Historical Responsibility and Corporate Memory category prize. The award is a recognition of the excellence of Vale Registrar in preserving, valuing and furthering actions related to the history of the communities within which Vale operates.

In this first stage, Vale Registrar competed with several great projects, such as Roberto Marinho Foundation’s Football Museum, and other projects from the country’s Southeast, South and Midwest regions. On September 16, the subprogram will compete in ABERJE’s National Prize, against other regional winners throughout Brazil.

The prize elects the best organizational communication initiatives developed throughout the country and awards organizations, institutions and government bodies with outstanding actions. In 2007, The Trem da Vale Heritage Education Program was awarded the ABERJE’s 33rd prize edition in the same category: Historical Responsibility and Corporate History.
